Boarding Terms and Conditions

1. Owner's Responsibility: While we take the utmost care of every pet entrusted to us, it is essential to understand that boarding is entirely at the owner's risk.

2. Vaccination Requirements:

   - Dogs: Owners must provide an up-to-date vaccination certificate for the following:
     - Distemper
     - Hepatitis
     - Leptospirosis
     - Parvo Virus

   - Cats: A valid certificate for the following vaccinations is required:
     - Feline Enteritis
     - Feline Respiratory Disease

3. Shared Accommodation: With the owner's consent, we permit pets from the same family to share accommodation.

4. Health Disclosure: Prior to boarding, please inform us of any health concerns, past medical treatments, or behavioural issues. We reserve the right to decline pets with an unreliable temperament or those unwell at the time of boarding.

5. Veterinary Care: If deemed necessary, we may, at our discretion, call a vet for pre-existing health conditions. All associated fees are the owner's responsibility.

6. Boarding Charges: Daily boarding fees cover both the arrival and departure days. No charge will apply if your pet is collected before 11:00 am on the departure day.

7. Payment: Payment for the confirmed booking dates is due in full. There will be no reductions in charges for an early return.

8. Booking Deposit: To secure all bookings, a non-refundable 20% deposit is required.

9. Drop-off and Collection Hours: Drop-off and collection times are limited to our normal business hours. For pre-arranged times outside of these hours, a fee of £15.00 per dog will apply.

10. No One-Night Stays During School Holidays: Please note that we do not accommodate one-night stays during school holidays.

11. Accepted Payment Methods: Debit and credit cards, as well as cash, are accepted. We no longer accept cheques.

12. Unclaimed Pets: If an animal is not collected within fourteen days of the specified departure date, the proprietors of Mahon House reserve the right to determine the future of the animal.
